What is TIM?
The TIM is the International Minimes Tournament (U15) organized by the Saumur Loire Basket 49 club for many years.
It is a tournament that brings together women's and men's teams fromcategory U15 coming from France and Europe.
60 games
20 female and male delegationscoming from France et from Europe are expected over these 4 days. The teams are divided into 2 pools, and, with the final stages, these are pas less of60 gameswhich will take place in the different rooms from Saumur.

Each year a new godfather or godmother comes represent the basketball tournament of the year in Saumur and attend
at the various matches of the tournament, to the delight of a crowd of supporters and fans:Antoine Rigaudeau, Nicolas Batum,
Fabien Talker... Some likeFranck Ntilikina or Killian Hayes participated at the tournament and are currently playing in the NBA.
Since 2004
The TIM,International Minis Tournament(U15), was born from the merger BetweenJoan of Arc Basket and Saumur Loire Basket 49. Both organized their own international tournament, one for the categories youngest (U13) and the other for the youngest (U17).
Since 2004, it is acommon tournament for the minimal category (U15)which has emerged.
